Blondshell offers up tender new 'If You Asked For A Picture' track, 'Two Times'

Blondshell is back with another taste of what to expect from her sophomore LP ‘If You Asked For A Picture’ (due out on 2nd May via Partisan Records), and this latest cut is - perhaps - a bit of a curveball.

Where recent release ‘T&A’ was a huge-chorused, anthemic number, new single ‘Two Times’ finds Blondshell - aka Sabrina Teitelbaum - at her most stripped-back and sincere, contemplating how society and modern media skew our perception of romantic relationships.

“I feel like I’m always seeing movies and shows where conflict is the only way love is expressed,”  she has explained of the track. ” It’s a lot of stories where someone has to work really hard to get somebody else to love them, and that’s what seems to make the relationship valuable.

” This song was basically like, what if it’s just solid? What if it’s just good and the relationship’s healthy? Does that mean it is less valuable? I think that’s a painful question because it’s essentially asking how capable you are of being in a decent relationship. But it’s also a love song in that way.”

What’s more, Sabrina’s set to hit the road later this year for an extensive tour that will see her bring the Blondshell live show to cities across North America, Europe, and the UK (with a second night at London’s Electric Brixton having just been added due to demand).
