Bombay Bicycle Club announce huge Earls Court headline show
The band will be headlining the iconic London venue this December.
Huge shows are nothing new for Bombay Bicycle Club; after all, the North London four-piece are currently in the swing of an entire summer of festivals, playing some massive stages across Europe. Now, they’ve got their sights set on making their own headline shows that much bigger, with one rather iconic venue on their bucket list…
The band, who released their Number 1 album ‘So Long, See You Tomorrow’ earlier this year, have announced plans to perform at London’s Earls Courts on 13th December.
The news landed today, via the means of a video message as created by the band’s keyboard player Louis Bhose, and inspired by Armando Iannucci’s Time Trumpet, which you can watch below.
Speaking of their huge forthcoming headline show, guitarist Jamie MacColl has said, “we seized at the chance to play one of London’s most historic and important venues. This will be our first arena show so will be a momentous night for the band — just thinking about it gets the adrenaline rushing!”
Tickets for their London headline show will go on sale at 9am this Friday (18th July) from Gigs and Tours.
In the meantime, Bombay Bicycle Club will be playing at this year’s Latitude Festival, which takes place this weekend. They also have a slew of North American tour dates, set to take place ahead of their return to the UK capital this winter.
