Bombay Bicycle Club share acoustic version of ‘Is It Real?’
The reworking is the final track to be taken from their new ‘Two Lives’ EP, which is out today.
Bombay Bicycle Club have shared an acoustic version of their recent track ‘Is It Real?’
The reworking, which also features vocals from Billie Marten, gets taken from their new acoustic EP, ‘Two Lives’, which has been released today and can be downloaded on a pay-what-you-want basis, to raise money for Chineke! and Youth Music organisations.
Speaking of the final track to be taken from the EP, the band’s drummer Suren de Saram has said: “Today we’re releasing the fourth and final track from our Two Lives EP. This one is an acoustic version of Is It Real from the last album, and features the wonderful Billie Marten on vocals.
“As with the whole EP, this song was recorded during lockdown with everyone recording their parts remotely. It was a result of us trying to adjust to a suddenly empty diary, and struggling to come to terms with everything that was going on in the world.”
To download the full ‘Two Lives’ EP - which also includes reworkings of ‘Racing Stripes’ and a cover of Bonnie Raitt’s ‘Two Lives’- head to the band’s website.
