Bon Iver have cancelled their own Mexican festival
The cancellation comes only ten days after the event was announced.
Just ten days ago, Bon Iver announced details of a new destination festival in Mexico, set for January of next year. The event has now been cancelled.
Days Have No Numbers was set to take place at the Hard Rock Hotel in Riviera Maya, and feature performances from Sylvan Esso, Poliça and more. The band have pulled the commitment due to “unforseen circumstances”.
“We are very sorry for the inconvenience,” the event’s website now states, but no official word has been given from the band themselves. Refunds are set to be given to ticket-holders immediately.
Bon Iver also cancelled a scheduled European tour earlier this year, which was set to include four London shows across the city. The band have now scheduled another run of dates in the UK set for next month.
