Watch Brand New play songs from ‘Science Fiction’ for the first time

The band played High & Low Fest in California.

Brand New (finally, FINALLY) released their new album last month. ‘Science Fiction’ is the follow-up to 2009’s ‘Daisy’ and was dropped with very little warning, the day after a vinyl pre-order for “LP5” went up on the website of the band’s label Procrastinate! Music Traitors.

The band played their first show since the release of the album at High & Low Fest in San Bernardino, California over the weekend, and debuted seven songs from the record.

‘Lit Me Up’, ‘Can’t Get It Out’, ‘Same Logic/Teeth’, ‘In the Water’, ‘Out of Mana’, ‘137’ and ‘451’ were all given their live debuts, along with tracks from ‘Deja Entendu’, ‘The Devil & God Are Raging Inside Me’ and beyond.

Brand New play two UK shows in November, heading to London’s Brixton Academy and Glasgow’s O2 Academy.
