Brockhampton to release new album next month
It looks like it’s called ‘Iridescence’.
Brockhampton finished their maiden European voyage this weekend with sets at Reading & Leeds, and have now announced their new album!
The band had previously revealed plans to share a new record called ‘The Best Years Of Our Lives’, but it now appears to have been shelved in favour of a new LP called ‘Iridescence’, which will arrive in September.
Over the last few months, the band have been releasing new music via their Things We Lost In The Fire radio show on Beats 1 - so far we’ve heard ‘1997 Diana’, ‘1998 Truman’ and ‘1999 Wildfire’.
The band played their first UK shows last week with two incendiary shows at London’s KOKO. Read the DIY review of the first show here.
‘Iridescence’ comes with the tagline ‘Made in London’, fuelling speculation that the band have been recording the album during their UK stay.
There’s no firm release date yet, but it’s dropping next month! Stay tuned for more information.
