The Boss was originally scheduled to deliver a keynote speech, but has now been confirmed to play.

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will be playing an intimate show at this year’s SXSW festival.
The Boss was already scheduled to deliver a keynote speech at the Austin festival, but now it has been confirmed that the band will be playing an intimate show on the 15th March.
According to the SXSW website, tickets for the show will only be available through a draw process, of which only you’re only eligible to enter if you’re a “platinum badge holder, music badge holder, artist wristband holder, and…SXSW Music wristband holder who has already obtained their wristband online.”
Badge holders can apply for tickets between 12th and 14th March. Holders can go to “any of the four Connection Centers in the Austin Convention Center to enter the drawing.” Winners will be notified on 15th March via email at 10am regarding how to claim their tickets.
