Bruce Springsteen to release his first children’s book
‘Outlaw Pete’ is coming out this November.
Bruce Springsteen is set to write a children’s book for the first time. The Boss has announced plans to put out ‘Outlaw Pete’, a new title based around a famous song of the same name.
Springsteen is writing alongside Frank Caruso for his first stint in the genre. The latter put the idea to Bruce, with the book eventually being readied for a 4th November release via Simon & Schuster.
Earlier this year Springsteen also made his directorial debut with the short indie flick ‘Hunter of Invisible Game’. That’s on top of his ‘High Hopes’ LP, which came out back in January, charting at #1 in the States.
The book is described as “the story of a man trying to outlive and outrun his sins,” in a statement.
Below, listen to the original ‘Outlaw Pete’ song.
