Bruising stream new ‘Emo Friends’ single

The fuzzy Leeds duo have announced a new 7” - stream track one now.

Fuzzed-out Neu favourites Bruising have announced a new AA-side single, to be released on 7” via Beech Coma Records. To celebrate, the Leeds two-piece are streaming the first track from it below - the brilliantly-titled ‘Emo Friends’.

An ode to the shrug-it-off mentality of having as much fun as possible while tragedy keeps daring to strike, there’s a frantic sense of borrowed time that floats throughout, both Naomi Baguely and former DIY FC 5-a-side superstar Ben Lewis exchanging blows of melody back-and-forth amongst all the fuzz.

It’s mirrored by ‘Honey’ on the record’s second side, a re-recording of the first track the duo ever put to tape, making this an essential bookending release of one of the UK’s most exciting new guitar bands. Stream ‘Emo Friends’ below, and catch a full-band Bruising in support of Los Campesinos! at any of the dates below.
