Chalk announce debut album ‘Crystalpunk’ with rave-ready cut ‘I.D.C’
The electropunk duo’s first full-length will arrive in March.

DIY Class of 2026 alumni Chalk have revealed that their debut LP, ‘Crystalpunk’, will be arriving on 13th March via ALTER Music.
The news comes in the wake of the Belfast outfit’s ‘Conditions’ EP trilogy, which were released in instalments between 2023 and 2025. Where those projects laid the foundations of Chalk, ‘Crystalpunk’ is set to be their introduction proper, born as it is from their experiences of growing up in Northern Ireland amidst conflict, sociopolitical complexity, and resilient beauty.
Leading the charge is lead single ‘I.D.C.’ (out now) - a ferocious floor-filler which Chalk’s Ross Cullen has described as “the danciest track on the album”. Continuing, he shares: “’I.D.C.’ captures a fictional night out — self-destruction disguised as celebration, knives twisting beneath the strobe.”
