Christopher Owens has announced plans for a short visit to the UK and Europe later this year during a run of worldwide headline show.
Following the announcement of his forthcoming debut album, Owens has now unveiled three live dates taking place in December, in the run up to release.
The ex-Girls vocalist will make three stops - two in mainland Europe with a final call in the UK - following his debut live appearance in San Francisco next month. His scheduled dates are as follows.
NOVEMBER
09 The Lodge, San Francisco
DECEMBER
07 Vodafone Mexefest in Lisbon
08 Gaite Lyrique, Paris, France
10 St Giles, London, UK
Allegedly, he’ll be playing his debut solo album ‘Lysandre’ in full, ahead of its release via Turnstile on 14th January.
The album was inspired by Girls’ first tour in 2008 (“A coming of age story, a road trip story, a love story”) and named after a girl he met in France (“Lysandre could easily be mistaken as an album about a love affair. But it’s much more than that”). It was recorded in LA’s Hobby Shop Studios.
Two songs from the record - opening number ‘Lysandre’s Theme’ and ‘Here We Go’ can be streamed now, via SoundCloud.
The tracklisting is confirmed as:
Lysandre’s Theme
Here We Go
New York City
A Broken Heart
Here We Go Again
Riviera Rock
Love Is In The Ear Of The Listener
Lysandre
Everywhere You Knew
Closing Theme
Part Of Me (Lysandre’s Epilogue)
