CHVRCHES confirm new album plans

CHVRCHES have confirmed plans to head back into the studio next January, to begin work on the follow-up to last year’s ‘The Bones of What You Believe’.

To mark the final show of their world tour, the band tweeted: “Over 365 shows in two years and we’re going home. Work on album two starts in January.”

2014 hasn’t been quiet on the CHVRCHES front. Their new single ‘Dead Air’ features on the ‘Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1’ soundtrack, as curated by Lorde. And the Scottish trio also contributed ‘Get Away’ to Zane Lowe’s re-scoring of the ‘Drive’ soundtrack, where the likes of Bastille, SBTRKT and Foals gave the original score a complete renovation.
