Chvrches debut ‘Clearest Blue’

Hear another striking cut from ‘Every Open Eye’.

Chvrches debut ‘Clearest Blue’

Chvrches have unveiled ‘Clearest Blue’, the third song to be taken from the Scottish trio’s new album ‘Every Open Eye’.

Linking up with ‘Leave A Trace’ and ‘Never Ending Circles’, this latest cut is an initially subdued, dark synth number, but it packs one almighty closing punch. Cut to a couple of minutes in, and it begins to sound like Depeche Mode’s ‘Just Can’t Get Enough’, which is obviously a good thing.

After getting a spin on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show, it’s now streaming below as a lyric video.

Pre-order the album here.
