Chvrches’ Lauren Mayberry covers ‘Wrecking Ball’ and ‘Boys of Summer’
She took on the Miley Cyrus and Don Henley pop bangers at Baby’s All Right in Brooklyn.
Because she’s an absolute legend, Lauren Mayberry from Chvrches made a surprise appearance in Brooklyn, and covered a handful of pop bangers in the process.
The frontwoman came onstage during Greg Barris’ Heart of Darkness comedy event, which took place at Baby’s All Right in Brooklyn. Along with Don Henley’s ‘Boys of Summer’ (which Lauren previously named as her ” her go-to karaoke jam”) she also performed Miley Cyrus belter ‘Wrecking Ball’. And obviously the performance came hand in hand with interpretive dancing from comedian Seth Herzog, who was, for whatever reason, wearing a Wonder Woman costume.
Lauren Mayberry also covered ‘Brick’ by Chapel Hill alt-rock band Ben Folds Five. Watch all three covers below.
