Chvrches rule themselves out of Glastonbury 2015
The Scottish band counter online speculation and clarify that they will not be playing the festival this year.
As speculation continues to run rife around both the mystery third headliner, and the rest of the acts on the line-up, Chvrches have ruled themselves out of this year’s Glastonbury festival. In a tweet, the Scottish band countered online rumours, saying “Pals! Incase anyone has seen info flying about online, we are not playing [Glastonbury]. We’ll be back one day we hope but not 2015.”
Chvrches might not be at Glastonbury this year, but they are confirmed for festivals including V Festival, Electric Picnic and Lollapalooza Berlin - with more announcements inevitably on the way. Earlier this year the band also revealed in a statement that their second album is “coming along very nicely.”
