CID RIM teams up with Samantha Urbani on ‘Repeat’

Drummer and producer Clemens Bacher performs under the name CID RIM, coming out of Vienna with a blend of krautrock, jazz and electronic sounds. He’s already provided some acclaimed remixes for the likes of CHVRCHES, The 1975 and Sky Ferreira.

Now he’s set to release his debut album ‘Material’ on 20th October via Scottish label LuckyMe, but ahead of that he’s shared ‘Repeat’. The track features former Friends vocalist Samantha Urbani and is five minutes of juddering, hypnotic beats and synths that come in waves around Samantha’s vocals.

The new track is accompanied by a video that harnesses some of the vibrancy and suspense that the music generates. Mixing in footage of Bacher at the drums with bursts of colour, it’s a similarly hypnotic experience.
