Cola share plans for new album ‘Cost Of Living Adjustment’
The Montreal trio have also dropped its lead single, ‘Hedgesitting’.

Canadian outfit Cola have announced that their third studio album - the semi-self-titled ‘Cost Of Living Adjustment’ (aka ‘C.O.L.A’) - will be released on 8th May via Fire Talk Records.
The follow-up to 2024 sophomore effort ‘The Gloss’, this new LP promises to be “the band’s most maximalist work to date”, and has been introduced by way of lead single ‘Hedgesitting’ - a layered, skittish offering that incorporates both live drums and a sample loop.
Moving away from the sprechgesang of much of frontman Tim Darcy’s previous work, ‘Cost Of Living Adjustment’ is instead defined by more melodic lyrics, which work in harmony with the instrumental parts to make for a record that’s carefully considered and intricately constructed.
