Festivals: Confirmed: The Libertines to play Glastonbury 2015 tonight
Band are playing the Pyramid Stage ahead of Florence + The Machine.
The rumour mill’s been in overdrive for the last few hours, and it’s been in good form - The Libertines are officially playing the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury Festival tonight (26th June).
They’ll be appearing ahead of Florence + The Machine’s headline slot on Worthy Farm. Earlier today, music producer and engineer, Simon Askew who’s working on the stage tweeted a picture of this evening’s running order, taped above the mixing desk. On it, “Albion” was listed between “Motorhead” and “Flo” - and he wasn’t on about West Bromwich…
Their appearance was confirmed on Instagram, via a helicopter shot of Somerset. The slot is set to kick off from 8.20pm this evening.
