Courtney Barnett is officially massive now - watch her SNL debut
Aussie performed two songs from last year’s debut LP.

Courtney Barnett isn’t exactly niche, but last night she went truly stratospheric by performing on the star-studded season finale of Saturday Night Live.
Her biggest moment yet, the Australian star performed two songs from her debut album ‘Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit’. And yes, obviously she killed it, playing all-sparks renditions of ‘Nobody Really Cares if you Don’t Go to the Party’ and ‘Pedestrian at Best’.
She also took part in a skit with SNL’s Bobby Moynihan, where she attempts to teach him Australian slang.
It’s been a landmark year - she was nominated for Best New Artist at this year’s Grammy Awards, and her debut picked up the 2016 Australian Music Prize.
Watch the performances and skit below.
