Courtney Barnett says her new album is “getting close”
She gave an update on her forthcoming album to Beats 1.
Courtney Barnett’s given an update on the progress of her follow-up to ‘Sometimes I Sit And Think And Sometimes I Just Sit’, and it might be a little bit closer than expected!
Courtney was talking to Zane Lowe on Beats 1 about the record, saying: “I’m trying to come up with a title for my new album. It’s all one sentence thoughts, you know trying to come up with something clever”. When asked if the LP was finished, she continued: “It’s well, I mean, maybe I gave too much away but it’s getting close”. Well then, best keep a sharp eye and ear out then…
Recently, Courtney released a collaborative album called ‘Lotta Sea Lice’ alongside Kurt Vile. We talked to them about the collaboration, and you can catch up here.
