Bathtime fun
Dams of the West takes to the tub in ‘The Inerrancy Of You And Me’ video
Vampire Weekend’s Chris Tomson really likes a good night-time routine.

Last year Vampire Weekend’s drummer Chris Tomson revealed he’d be doing some solo work under the name Dams of the West, announcing a Bowie-referencing album called ‘Youngish American’.
Well after what feels like blimmin’ ages, he’s finally got a new single out: the jangly, upbeat ‘The Inerrancy Of You And Me’. Its video casts Chris as an Elvis impersonator (he makes a surprisingly good one) who comes home and gets ready for bed with a surprisingly precise night-time routine.
He has a glass of bubbly, dances around in his pyjamas a bit and has a sing-song in the bathtub. He’s got a pretty fancy home too, even down to some pretty decorative bathroom tiles. Maybe pretending to be Elvis is actually a pretty good job - where do we sign up?

Featuring Yard Act, Death Cab For Cutie, Graham Coxon, Maisie Peters and more.
