Sue me
David Bowie shares new single, ‘Sue (Or in a Season of Crime)’
Track is taken from the ‘Nothing Has Changed’ compilation.
This November, David Bowie releases his new compilation ‘Nothing Has Changed’, which brings together material from the last 50 years of his career.
Amongst the banks of old material is ‘Sue (Or in a Season of Crime)’, a new Bowie single recorded with Tony Visconti.
The track gained its first play earlier today on Elbow singer Guy Garvey’s BBC Radio 6Music show. Spanning over the seven-minute mark, it’s a grandiose, ducking and dodging number filled with hysterical horn sections and fluttering jazz notes.
It’s available to listen to below via a Sue Barker-centric radio rip.
‘Sue’ is coming out as a separate limited edition 10” on 28th November, in time for Record Store Day’s Black Friday.
November 17th sees the release of ‘Nothing Has Changed’ on Parlophone. It’s out 18th November in the US on Columbia / Legacy.
