David Bowie to release limited edition 7” on Record Store Day 2015
‘Changes’ is getting a new run, sporting two versions.
David Bowie is set to release his seminal ‘Changes’ single as a limited 7” picture disc for this year’s Record Store Day, 18th April.
Originally from the 1972 album ‘Hunky Dory’, it’s being given another run in 2015 on white/clear vinyl.
‘Changes’ will be released alongside ‘Kingdom Come’, from 1980 album ‘Scary Monsters (And Super Creeps)’. Two versions of the track will appear - Bowie’s original take, plus the original Tom Verlaine composition.
Last year saw Bowie releasing a commemorative ‘Nothing Has Changed’ album, bringing together his best moments from the past four decades. It also included new material, recorded with Tony Visconti.
