David Bowie’s ‘The Next Day’ To Gain Extended Edition, Feat. James Murphy Remix
James Murphy’s dream keeps coming true as he takes on ‘Love Is Lost’.

Connecting the dots between LCD Soundsystem (RIP) and Davie Bowie in his heyday isn’t exactly a topic spared for University Challenge. James Murphy’s been a Bowie fan since day one, and the latter’s influence has worked its way into LCD’s records from the off.
After producing Arcade Fire’s ‘Reflektor’, which featured a fantastic David Bowie cameo, Murphy’s since turned his attention to a track on the Bowie comeback album ‘The Next Day’.
Featuring on an extended edition of the record, Murphy’s taking on ‘Love Is Lost’, coining his own name in the ‘Hello Steve Reich Mix’.
The extended album is titled ‘The Next Day Extra’ and the list of new tracks (originals and remixes) is below:
