Death Cab For Cutie air acoustic version of ‘Black Sun’, announce Madison Square Garden show
A third date at Shepherd’s Bush has also been announced.
Death Cab For Cutie’s Ben Gibbard has stripped things back to provide an acoustic version of the band’s latest track ‘Black Sun’.
Performing in session for SiriusXM, Gibbard showcased the first track to be taken from Death Cab’s forthcoming album, ‘Kintsugi’.
The new version arrives following the news that Death Cab will play Madison Square Garden as part of their tour of Europe and North America. The band have also added a third date and London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire, for which tickets go on sale this Friday (13th February).
‘Kintsugi’ is due for release through Atlantic Records on 30th March, and you can read DIY’s review of ‘Black Sun’ here. Check out the new video too, which stars Gibbard as a ruthless action movie director.
