Death From Above 1979 air new ‘Trainwreck 1979’ video

Death From Above 1979 have unveiled the first official video to be taken from their first album in ten years, ‘The Physical World’.

Matching up with ‘Trainwreck 1979’, the new clip sees a skateboarding, city-wandering individual playing along to the opening track on the new record, all while experiencing other moments of growing up; skateboarding; going to gigs; getting picked up in town by parents. It’s a patchwork-type clip, but essentially the message is as follows: Kids are cool if they’re into DFA 1979.

Earlier today footage emerged of DFA 1979 performing ‘Trainwreck 1979’ on Letterman. Watch that here.
