New record!
Debby Friday announces brand new record ‘The Starrr Of The Queen Of Life’
The artist has also shared her enticing single ‘All I Wanna Do Is Party’.

Debby Friday has announced her brand new record, ‘The Starrr Of The Queen Of Life’, dropping 1st August 2025. Alongside the album news, the Toronto based artist has shared her aptly titled single, ‘All I Wanna Do Is Party’.
The new track is paired with a fluorescent music video in which Debby is captured with a host of dancers. “The video is really about discipline and craft,” she explains. “It’s about the transformations that happen when you devote yourself to a process over time.”
The new record was conceived while Debby was learning about astrology - namely Vega, which is the fifth brightest star visible from earth. Legend is that Vega can gift creativity, acclaim and bravery for those ready to receive it.
“I want to be a starrr, I can’t hide that desire,” says the electronic musician on the inspiration for the new record. “But what I don’t want is to live someone else’s dream or to follow a pre-set path. The starrr is a metaphor for all these thoughts I have around fame, success, failure, love, power, god, death, life, everything. My starrr is in me, and your starrr is in you, and it’s just a matter of surrendering to it,” she adds.
‘The Starrr Of The Queen Of Life’ follows Debby’s debut release, ‘GOOD LUCK’, which hit dance floors in 2023 and earned the artist a Polaris Prize.
