Debby Friday shares new single ‘Hot Love’

The track features on her forthcoming album ‘GOOD LUCK’.

Ahead of the release of her debut album ‘GOOD LUCK’ on 24th March via Sub Pop, Debby Friday is sharing her newest single ‘Hot Love’. “The song itself is about the karma of relationships,” she explains. “You meet someone, and you idealize them, you project onto them, and they do the same to you, and it’s all fun and games until it isn’t. This way of loving is so intoxicating and combustible and so hot it burns you right up.” Speaking to his about her forthcoming LP for our February 2023, Debby said, “I feel like this album is an ode to my adolescence. An ode to the time in my life when I was so confused and lost, and I felt like such an outsider. I wanted to make something that would speak to that, but speak to it from the other side.” Check out new track ‘Hot Love’ below. ‘GOOD LUCK’ Tracklisting: 1. GOOD LUCK 2. SO HARD TO TELL 3.
