Declan McKenna shares ‘Paracetamol’
Hertfordshire teen’s new single follows up his ‘Brazil’ breakthrough.
Declan McKenna - winner of this year’s Glastonbury Emerging Talent Competition, swiftly signed to Columbia - has unveiled his new single, ‘Paracetamol’.
McKenna’s breakthrough was debut single ‘Brazil’, a hard-hitting first work that turned its attention towards corrupt football executives, and actually ended up being pretty prophetic. ‘Paracetamol’ doesn’t shy away from tough topics, either. The 16-year-old takes the pains of growing up and sends them through his own filter. “You drive me insane!” he chants above bouncing casio synth lines, like Tom Vek jumped up on teenage hormones.
