Demob Happy have aired a video for new track ‘Less Is More’.
The single, shared at the start of the month, is the trio’s first material since 2018’s excellent ‘Holy Doom’, and comes ahead of a UK tour that kicks off next week.
Of the video, frontman Matt Marcantonio says: “We’ve done videos about undead puppets, geriatric bowls teams and insidious beverage companies, but we’ve never done the Holy Grail of band videos that is the ‘International Tour Video’ - It’s simply a must-have for any band.”
“It looks like less, but it sounds like more,” he adds of the song. “You can dissolve it any way you need to, but for us it wasn’t literal. We threw our all at it, doing things that made us uncomfortable, because you wither and die if you don’t keep moving. There’s so much hidden away on this record you’d think we were joking, but we aren’t. Less is More, more or less…”
