Dilly Dally share video for ‘Desire

The Toronto-based group map out their home city ahead of releasing debut album ‘Sore’.

Toronto-based quartet Dilly Dally have shared a video for their latest single ‘Desire’ - the lead single and opening track from Dilly Dally’s debut, ‘Sore’. The album’s out on 9th October through Partisan Records/Buzz Records.

The new video sees the group map out their city, daydreaming various scenarios around Toronto. The clip was directed by Benjamin Dabu, who also shot Dilly Dally’s ‘Candy Mountain’ video.

Speaking about the new clip, frontwoman Katie Monks says “allowing yourself to dream, and fantasize, is something that happens mostly in your youth. While we grew up in the wretchedly boring / culturally dry depths of Suburbia, there wasn’t much else to do but dream all day. We were still babies, and it seemed as though anything was possible.

All in our mid-twenties now, we’ve been hacking away at those goals in the city of Toronto for years. We’ve grown sour, sore, and even bitter at times… but those daydreaming skills have never faded.”
