Djo announces new album ‘The Crux’
The musician and actor has also confirmed details of his first ever world tour.

Djo - the musical project of Stranger Things and Fargo actor Joe Keery - has revealed that his next album, ‘The Crux’, will arrive on 4th April via AWAL.
Acting as a follow-up to 2022’s ‘DECIDE’ (from which viral hit ‘End Of The Beginning’ was lifted), the new LP was was co-produced by Keery alongside his frequent collaboratorAdam Thein, and sees him expand his synth-based sonic palette to include ’60s/’70s guitar-pop influences.
Written across multiple locations while Keery was away from home filming, ‘The Crux’ also promises to dive into themes of community, collaboration, and character, all framed by its central concept - a hotel housing guests who are all, in one way or another, at crossroads in their life.
The album has been introduced via lead single ‘Basic Being Basic’, a track that Keery has described as “kind of a shot fired to anyone who’s trying to be of the moment”. You can check it out - and revisit our In Deep digital cover interview with Djo - below.
Plus, Djo has also just announced a run of international 2025 live dates, including three stops in the UK (Glasgow, Manchester, and London). Tickets for all shows go on general sale at 9am local time on Friday 31st January - find out where you can catch him below.
