Djo drops surprise album ‘The Crux Deluxe’
Not content with releasing one LP this year, Joe Keery has now shared its 12-track companion project.

It’s only been a few months since Djo released his joyful third full-length ‘The Crux’, but he’s not done yet - the actor, musician, and former DIY cover star has now unveiled ‘The Crux Deluxe’, a whole other record that acts as something of a twin project to its predecessor.
Made up of 12 tracks written during ‘The Crux’ sessions, these new songs live in the same sonic and thematic world, but represent a different side to the album’s titular Crux hotel - here, day has turned to night, and Djo is looking forward to a new dawn.
Sharing more about the project on Instagram, he has explained: Music has always been a way for me to wrestle with things going on in my own life and speak them into the universe so I can listen back and try to make sense of them. It’s not so much a double album but an expansion of the world of ‘The Crux’ that stands on its own as a unique body of work, and lemme tell ya it was fun to get back in the saddle and finish these off with my friends. To go back to Electric Lady and see these through was a real highlight of the year full of highlights.
“These songs helped get me through a tumultuous time in my life and I hope they can help you get through any struggle you may be in the face of.”
