The 20th anniversary edition of The Great Escape festival just keeps on getting bigger! Over 100 new names have been confirmed for this year’s Brighton event, with the likes of Do Nothing, Bimini, The Orchestra (For Now), Swim Deep and PVA all included in the fest’s latest announcement.
Other artists confirmed to head to the seaside this May include DIY Class of 2026 member Nectar Woode, local duo ARXX and evocative electronic artist Tom Rasmussen, as well as other buzzy names including Y, Girl In The Year Above, SASSY 009, Charotte Plank and more.
They’ll join the likes of The Kooks, Kingfishr and Peaches, who all have Spotlight Shows at the event, alongside raucous party-starters Adult DVD, new Palma Violets offshoot Dead Dads Club, R&B multi-hyphenate Wesley Joseph, rising singer-songwriter Heidi Curtis, and many, many more at the four-day event this year.
Taking place between 13th-16th May in various venues across Brighton, TGE 2026 continues to promise a stacked weekend of new music discovery and hidden gems. What’s more, this year the festival is also introducing their TGE Wristband Rewards, which will give fest-goers the chance to get extra perks and rewards across at local businesses throughout the event.
Tickets for the fest - including four-day, two-day, and individual day tickets - are on sale now via the festival’s website, and more info on the TGE Wristband Rewards will be made available through the fest’s app.
