Dry Cleaning sign to 4AD, announce new UK and European tour dates

Our Class Of 2020 cover stars will be on the road until November.

Our Class Of 2020 cover stars Dry Cleaning have announced that they’re signing to 4AD.

The band, who have also revealed that they’re currently working on their debut album, have added new tour dates to their extensive 2020 tour, heading around the UK and Europe in October and November.

Currently in the US and set to play two Los Angeles shows this week, the band will head around the festival circuit in summer before starting a huge UK run in October, which then heads to mainland Europe.

The tour will finish with a show as part of Iceland Airwaves Festival in Reykjavik on 6th November.

The band released two EPs last year – ‘Sweet Princess’ and ‘Boundary Road Snacks and Drinks’. Reviewing the latter, we wrote: “Mixing their urgent post-punk backing with vocalist Florence Shaw’s deadpan delivery, her spoken-word vocals remain the standout star here, from her rapid observations on opener ‘Dog Proposal’ to the more melodic offering of ‘Sit Down Meal’.

“Once again highlighting the quartet’s sardonic take on modern life, Dry Cleaning are only just getting started.”
