Eagles of Death Metal return to Le Bataclan to pay tribute to victims

Group appeared on stage with U2 in Paris last night.

Earlier today, Eagles of Death Metal returned to the scene of tragic attacks that struck their show at Le Bataclan in Paris.

The group spent 10 minutes outside the venue, according to The New York Times, laying flowers and reading tributes paid to the victims of November’s attacks.

90 people died at the venue, including Eagles of Death Metal’s merch manager Nick Alexander.

Last night, the band took to a triumphant, defiant comeback in Paris by joining U2 on stage. They performed a cover of Patti Smith’s ‘People Have The Power’.
