Eagles of Death Metal return to Paris for U2 show
Watch Jesse Hughes and co. play ‘People Have the Power’ and ‘I Love You All The Time’.
Last night (7th December), Eagles of Death Metal returned to Paris less than a month after the deadly attacks that struck their show at Le Bataclan.
Jesse Hughes and co. joined U2 for a show at AccorHotels Arena. Together, they covered Patti Smith’s ‘People Have The Power’ before playing ‘I Love You All The Time’.
Introducing EODM, U2 frontman Bono told the crowd: “They were robbed of their stage three weeks ago and we would like to offer them ours tonight.”
On the previous night of their tour, U2 projected the names of Paris victims on a giant screen. “We stand together with the families of those killed in Paris,” he said, before performing with Patti Smith.
