Charity organisation ‘Save The Children’ have announced a one-off special Christmas show for 4th December. The gig, which is to be hosted by BBC Radio 6 Music DJ Lauren Laverne, will be held at London’s Union Chapel and will see live performances from a number of DIY favourites.

Editors, The Charlatans and Slow Club are among the initial line up, with more acts yet to be confirmed over the coming weeks.

Editors released their fourth studio album ‘The Weight of Your Love’ in June last year, while Slow Club released their third record ‘Complete Surrender’ earlier this year.

Meanwhile, The Charlatans announced that their twelfth record, ‘Modern Nature’ will be released in early 2015.

‘Christmas Jumper Jam’, which was formerly known as the ‘Christmas Tree Sessions’ takes place from 7pm-10pm on 4th December with tickets priced at £40.
