Ethel Cain shares new track ‘Famous Last Words (An Ode to Eaters)’
The track was originally shared on Soundcloud last year and quickly became a fan favourite.
Ethel Cain has shared her first new music since the release of last year’s ‘Preacher’s Daughter’.
Her newest track, ‘Famous Last Words (An Ode to Eaters)’, was originally released on Soundcloud last year, and fast became a favourite amongst fans; now, the track - which was originally inspired by surreal romantic-horror film Bones and All - has been given an official release.
The video for the track video comes directed by Ethel herself and Silken Weinberg, and doubles as the first release to come from Givenchy creative director Matthew William’s new 1017 ALYX 9SM project. Check out the darkly poignant video below.
Ethel Cain is currently in the midst of playing shows in the US, but will be returning to the UK to support boygenius on their upcoming live shows next month, before performing at the likes of Cala Mijas, MEO Kalorama and Electric Picnic festivals in Europe.
Ethel Cain plays Cala Mijas (31st August - 2nd September), where DIY is a media partner. Head to the festival’s website for more info, and to buy tickets.
