Everything Everything reveal new dystopian clip for ‘Spring / Sun / Winter / Dread’

The band dress up as UV-doused astronauts for the ‘Get To Heaven’ clip.

Ahead of its release as the band’s latest single, Everything Everything have revealed their new video for ‘Spring / Sun / Winter / Dread’.

Due for release on 4th September, the four-piece have given the ‘Get To Heaven’ cut the visual treatment, with the band dressing up as UV-doused astronauts for their appearance.

“The song talks about seasons passing and getting older,” the band’s frontman Jonathan Higgins told The Guardian, of the video’s concept, “so we wanted to concentrate on the sun and make it into a kind of oppressive force – positive and life-giving but also burning and destructive.

“We used ultraviolet and infrared cameras to get a look at the sun damage on our skin, and give everything an alien look. We shot in a quarry so we could have a clear horizon and a dry, hot, desert scene.”
