Family Friends share new track ‘Sometimes’
The band follow debut track ‘On Your Mind’ with a new cut that’s lost in thought
London-based quintet Family Friends have shared a new track titled ‘Sometimes’
Fronted by the Fitzsimons siblings, the Anglo-Australian group’s new track follows last month’s ‘On Your Mind’, both of which will feature on their upcoming EP, ‘Across The Water’.
Hushing down the guitar power of their debut, ‘Sometimes’ finds Rebecca Fitzsimons lost in thought. On the one hand she quite fancies the idea of solitude, and on the other, “sometimes I think I’d make myself a good wife.” There’s a melancholy tone peeling from the guitars which is similar to ‘On Your Mind’, but ‘Sometimes’ comes in a different form, while shedding light on more material from their locker.
Listen to ‘Sometimes’, taken from Family Friends’ debut EP, ‘Across The Water’ below.
Featuring Yard Act, Death Cab For Cutie, Graham Coxon, Maisie Peters and more.
