Family Friends stay close to home for debut ‘On Your Mind’ video
House party scene sets a marker for this exciting London five-piece.

A couple of weeks back, East London group Family Friends put themselves on the map with a heart-swelling, simple but instantly charming debut single ‘On Your Mind’. On the one hand capable of going skywards into another planet altogether, it’s also rooted close to home. Familiarity sets the agenda, hence why the song feels like it’s been around for years already.
With an accompanying debut video, the brother/sister duo of Tom and Rebecca decided to keep things intimate. “Shot blind at a house party” with a 16mm camera, Rebecca says it captures a “morning after” scene with a group of close friends. See if you can spot DIY favourite Oscar (it’s not hard, we’ll be honest) and try not to feel desperately hungover by the end of it.
