Faris Badwan of The Horrors and his brother/Loom frontman Tarik have announced the first full details of their joint label venture Raft Records.

Speaking to NME in January, Faris and Tarik confirmed Raft Records will release the debut album by Loom as well as their own collaborative musical project. Tarik Badwan commented that their project is inspired by “labels that have real personality. Factory Records, Captured Tracks…labels that have a real lo-fi spirit to them.”

The inaugural release, titled ‘Raft Records’ will be a compilation split featuring Skinny Girl Diet, Niqab, Puffer, and Jet Black. A label launch will take place on Tuesday 3rd March at Rough Trade East, featuring a performance from Skinny Girl Diet and dj sets from the Badwan siblings.

The tracklist for ‘Raft Records’ EP sampler is as follows:

1. Skinny Girl Diet - ‘Nadine Harley’

2. Puffer - ‘Life’s A Cake’

3. Niqab - ‘Part One’

4. Jet Black - ‘Jet Black’.
