Father John Misty covers Leonard Cohen in Montreal

Father John Misty covered Leonard Cohen’s ‘I’m Your Man’ at a concert last night, coming two days after sharing his cover of Nirvana’s ‘Heart-Shaped Box’ as a Valentine’s Day treat.

J. Tillman is currently on tour in North America to support his latest album ‘I Love You Honeybear’, released last week on Sub Pop Records.

Leonard Cohen released ‘I’m Your Man’ in 1988, with Tillman performing his rendition last night in Montreal, Cohen’s hometown. Fan footage from last night’s concert has emerged on Instagram, with same cover being performing a month earlier on YouTube.
