Father John Misty’s written a piss-take Prius jingle

Another day, another piece of tomfoolery from Father John Misty. Josh Tillman has uploaded a track called ‘Prius Commercial Demo’ to Soundcloud.

Presumably taking the piss out of the usual folk-leaning culprits that usually provide such jingles, Father John Misty’s Prius competition is filled with affected hey-ho outbursts, and gently burring guitars and whiskey references. It’s in a similar vein to Tillman’s recent House of Cards theme song, and a series of supposedly-rejected Pandora radio commercials.
