FIDLAR release Sheryl Crow cover

In a rather drastic turn of events, FIDLAR have recorded and released perhaps the most unlikely of all covers – Sheryl Crow’s 1996 hit ‘If It Makes You Happy’.

From the laidback, rather trippy verses, to the hilariously loud hardcore choruses, the LA punks have put their very own unique spin on the track, as only they know how. The comedy factor is heightened in the video below where the band have dubbed it over Crow’s original video.

FIDLAR play their first show of 2015 on 23rd January at LA’s Regent’s Theater, which is now sold out. On 28th March, they join the likes of Weezer, Ty Segall, Ariel Pink and Black Lips for Burger Records’ Burgerama at The Observatory in Santa Ana, CA.

Their second LP is reportedly “in the works”.
