Field Day Announce First 2013 Bands: Chvrches, Django Django, Fucked Up & More
The event is set to take place on 25th May at Victoria Park, London.

Field Day have announced the first few acts playing their 2013 event, set to take place on 25th May at Victoria Park, London.
Posting the news on their Facebook page this afternoon, organisers initially revealed: Chvrches, Daughter, Francois And The Atlas Mountains, Virals, Vondelpark and Charlie Boyer & The Voyeurs.
In later posts, they also added: Ginger Baker Jazz Confusion, Mulatu Astatke (Official Artist Page), Thomas Mapfumo, Disclosure, Hessle Audio DJs (Ben UFO, Pangaea, Pearson Sound) and Julio Bashmore.
Before going on to confirm a few ‘big’ names: Django Django, Do Make Say Think, Emeralds, Everything Everything, Fucked Up, James Yorkston and Tim Burgess.
As well as the following: Daphni, Four Tet, How To Dress Well, Jacques Greene, #Karenn., TNGHT, Bat For Lashes and Animal Collective.
Last year’s event hosted sets from the likes of Franz Ferdinand, Metronomy, Gold Panda, Jessie Ware and Liars. Early bird tickets are on sale now.
