Final Glastonbury headliner to be British, potentially two different artists
Michael Eavis has been dropping (very) cryptic hints about Sunday night’s headliner.
Glastonbury founder Michael Eavis has been giving the most cryptic hints yet about Glastonbury’s final, unannounced headliner.
Speaking at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London on Wednesday, Eavis claimed the the headliner could be two artists, and that they’d “most likely” be British.
He didn’t go into any further detail about whether two artists consisted of individual acts or two separate headliners. If Eavis is being extra loose with the definition, he could be paving a route for that rumoured Oasis comeback.
Either way, the final headliner will be announced on 1st June. They’ll join Foo Fighters (Friday night) and Kanye West (Saturday night) as headliners, with other artists including Alt-J, Florence + The Machine, Lionel Richie, George Ezra and Caribou.
Featuring Yard Act, Death Cab For Cutie, Graham Coxon, Maisie Peters and more.
