Having recently recorded a set of Christmas songs with Yoko Ono’s Plastic Ono band, The Flaming Lips have revealed their cover of The Beatles’ ‘I Am The Walrus’.
The rendition was recorded live and is available to watch via the video stream above. The cover is a precursor for the band’s New Year’s Freakout #5 in Oklahoma City, where they will cover an extended array of Beatles songs with Sean Lennon and the Plastic Ono Band.
