The Flaming Lips have released a trailer for their forthcoming concert documentary, ‘Freak Night’, which was filmed during their show at Oklahoma City Zoo Amphitheatre back in October.
With their local venue changing promoters during the summer, Wayne Coyne and co decided to throw a massive free fancy dress Halloween party (in lieu of their usual New Years Eve hometown shenanigans), and the whole event was captured on camera.
Although no official date has been announced, according to Wayne Coyne’s Twitter account the full film will be available this week. It is expected to be released via their official website.
The band’s 15th studio album, ‘The Terror’, is slated for an early 2013 release.
